John in CT and Mike in North NJ are back to cover the 2018 Open Championship, a near miss for Tiger Woods that went awry on his back nine, and featuring other great rallies by Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose and the eventual winner Francesco Molinari.   Is Tiger's momentary lead on the final round a sign of a future major championship, or a momentary "right place/right time" scenario?   Why is Spieth so bad with the putter?   How did the Carnoustie Championship course treat the field 19 years after Jean Van de Velde's big collapse?  We look at what went wrong for the runners up, cover the usual surprises and disappointments, then look ahead to the tour schedule.
